A new book brings together Diana's four completed plays for children, along with a screenplay she wrote for television. The book is available from Moondust Books.
Diana's house in Bristol where she lived for many years and wrote so many of her books is to be commemorated with a Blue Plaque. The Blue Plaque scheme celebrates people who have made a significant impact in their field of work or contributed to human welfare. (Diana's fans will argue that she did both.) A plaque is fixed to a building connected to that person to link physical heritage with personal achievement.
Organised by sisters Henrietta and Lydia Wilson, the 2024 conference celebrating Diana and her books was a successful and enjoyable event. Speakers included Diana's son Michael Burrow, her sister Isobel Armstrong, and authors Anna James, Garth Nix and Pari Thomson. The next conference is planned for five years' time, in 2029.
